The history of the famous “hundred” began to be written in August 1969, when it took over the baton of the then popular “embéček”. Škoda 100/110 became the most widespread passenger car in Czechoslovakia. Over a million of them were produced in Mladá Boleslav between 1969 and 1977.
The book is mainly dedicated to these cars, but also mentions their siblings: the Škoda 110 R coupe from the Kvasiny plant, the ÚVMV 1100 GT sports car from the Prague research institute, and the Škoda Super Sport development study, which was subsequently converted into a movie star named Ferat.
